基于四帧差分与局部熵融合的煤流分割方法

    The frame difference and entropy fusion-based coal flow segmentation method

    • 摘要: 针对现有煤料分割方法中轮廓检测不全,边缘残缺以及环境自适性差等问题,提出一种四帧差分与局部熵融合的煤流分割方法,根据煤流轮廓面积特征来检测溜槽处是否发生堵塞。首先引入帧间差分法的思想,提取运动状态的煤流信息;再引入信息熵的思想,提出一种局部区域熵值的计算方法,由差分图像得到煤流局部熵值图像;提取煤流轮廓后,以前景面积作为特征,利用SVM对特征进行分类,得到检测结果。为评价四帧差分与局部熵融合的煤流分割方法的性能,进行了不同煤流量、光照强度,以及不同运煤场景下的对比分析,试验结果表明,此方法能够在不同场景下准确地提取出煤料的全局信息,可较好地适应并克服环境光照干扰的影响。

       

      Abstract: The problems with the coal flow segmentation methods currently available are inadequate acquisition of coal flow contour and edge information and poor in environmental adaptability. To address the problems, a coal flow segmentation method based on 4-frame difference and entropy fusion is proposed, which can detect whether a chute is blocked by coal based on coal flow profile area characteristics. The information of coal flow in state of motion is first acquired by using the frame-difference method, and then the local regional entropy value is calculated according to entropy of information. After the contour of coal flow is made known based on local entropy value image of coal flow which is obtained from the difference image, the detection result can be obtained through taking the foreground area as the feature and making classification of the feature using SVM. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed method, test is made with the method under the circumstances with varying coal flow volumes and rates, natural light intensities and coal handling patterns. Result of analysis and comparison shows that with the use of the method, all the information related to the coal flow under different conditions can be accurately acquired. Moreover, the method is high in adaptability and capable of eliminating the interference of environmental illumination.
