Abstract: Diversified kinds of flotation reagents are available with the collector and frother being the most commonly used ones. The efficiency of these two kinds of reagents exerts a direct bearing on the coal flotation performance. Following an analysis of the present status in application of the collector and frother, a prediction of their developing trend is made in the paper in a bid to provide a theoretical support for the improvement of the effect of these reagents and flotation performance.
