Abstract: The TDS dry cleaning machine uses the belt for delivery of raw coal feed. As it is not a belt conveyor commonly used for material transport use, the analysis and calculation of its stress state need to be made in a quite different way. Following an introduction to the feeder belt for supplying raw coal feed to the TDS intelligent dry cleaning machine at Harwusu Coal Preparation Plant, as well as a comparison of the similarities of belt conveyor and feeder belt, methad for making analysis and calculation of the stress to which the feeder belt is subjected in operation is proposed.
