Abstract: Periodic inspection on site of equipment of Jining No.3 Coal Preparation Plant is a labor-consuming work and the detection of mechanical troubles is often delayed. Identifying this problem, an intelligent system is introduced for on-line monitoring of the operating status of equipment. Practice shows that the system can accurately identify the running status of equipment and locate the trouble and indicate the severity of failure whenever any breakdown occurs. Therefore, any unplanned shutdown of equipment can be greatly reduced.
