Abstract: The author takes advantages of the Floyd method calculating shortest path in order to reduce the work as much as possible of transporting in mining area.An optimization model of selecting plant position is established,which selects the preparation plant at the optimized position between total mining points,and the practice of using the MATLAB program in selecting of preparation plant position at Ruyang open coal mine proved the effectiveness and practicability of Floyd calculation method.
