Application of the MES system in coal preparation plant equipment management

Due to the great variety and quantity of both mechanical and electrical equipment in coal preparation plant, the maintenance, lubrication, replacement of spare parts and other jobs involved are very complex in nature, making it impossible for the traditional manual management means to attend to each and every aspect. To address this issue, the customized MES equipment management system is developed by Luotuoshan Coal Preparation Plant by reference to the experience of its counterparts and in line with the plant's specific requirements. The function of the system covers equipment accounting and maintenance management, spare parts management, and inspection and examination of special equipment. Practice shows its use can meet the requirement for improvement of in-plant electromechanical equipment management level and lay a foundation for turning the plant into a smart one.
