Abstract
For attaining a higher working stability of sizing crusher, a study is made on the medium-carbon steel tooth material and its casting process. Based on study and analysis result, the contents of two trace elements in the steel material are adjusted. Following a comparative analysis of the data relating to crystal structure, mechanical property and wear resistance of the test samples before and after adjustment is made as well as the results obtained in field application, the paper goes to elaborate on the advantages and disadvantages of two groups of tooth materials, and the criteria for selection of tooth materials for use in different working scenarios are proposed. Finally, it is predicted that the tooth material of sizing crusher tends to become diversified and customized in future development.
