Abstract
The low moisture reabsorption rate of medium-grained and fine bituminous coal after being dried is beneficial to the storage, transport and utilization of such coal.In order to reduce the energy consumption and improve the utilization efficiency of the coal, test is made on drying of the coal using the blast drying box, with an aim to explore the influence of drying temperature and time in the drying process, and the moisture reabsorption characteristics of the dried coal.Test result shows that for the coal of the same size, the faster the reduction of moisture, the shorter the drying time is needed; at a temperature of 120~140 ℃,a fastest moisture reduction rate can be achieved, and in this temperature range, the size exerts a negligible effect on moisture reduction rate.
