Research and application of intelligent flotation technology in coal preparation plant

At present， the flotation technology applied in coal preparation plants and even in modern ones is generally low in intelligent level.What is realized is only the automation of reagent dosing system, yet not so much operating effect is achieved.Following a description in outline of the main targets set for the realization of intelligent flotation, the paper elaborates on the progress of the related research work so far made and the prospect in application of the technologies developed.The case of application of the intelligent flotation technology is cited as an example to demonstrate the remarkable superiority of this technology and the favorable socio-economical benefits obtained.At the end of the paper, a general picture of the projected intelligent flotation process flowsheet is presented.
