Application of the 3D software in design of non-standard parts of coal preparation plant

Low efficiency, troublesome and tedious drawing revision work and inadequacy in intuitional image representation are the problems generally encountered in the design of non-standard equipment of coal preparation plant. To address the problems, it is proposed based on study result to realize 3D parametrized design of such equipment on the basis of the traditional CAD drafting method. Study result shows 3D software can perform a very good supplementary function in the aspects like representation of drawings, making numeric calculation in engineering work, compatibility with IBM and rendering of effect drawings or images.
