Abstract
Washability curve as an important theoretical reference for coal separation is of vital guiding significance for coal preparation operations. The accuracy of the curve plotted and whether the curve can be drafted conveniently or not have a direct bearing on coal separation effect and efficiency. Therefore, plotting the washability curves in a highly efficient and accurate manner constitutes an important link ahead of coal washing process. The paper makes a summary of the currently available plotting methods and the principles applied by each method, as well as an analysis of their respective special features. Finally, the co-author presents some viewpoints on the methods that should be developed for plotting the washability curves in the future, in a bid to provide a fundamental reference for effecting high-efficiency coal separation and making systematic learning and study of related knowledge.
