    Development and application of the fiber optic temperature measuring-monitoring-prewarning system on belt conveyor

    • In view of the facts that currently the belt conveyor for mine use is long in length and is provided with a multiple of monitoring points because of its harsh working conditions, a fiber optic fire prewarning system that makes continuous temperature measurement and monitoring along the full length of the belt conveyor is specifically development by making full use of the excellent inherent properties of optical fibers.The system can make real-time online monitoring of temperature variations at conveyor's major friction points, and make diagnosis of abnormal temperature rise caused by fault of belt conveyor.The use of the system can interrupt the running of conveyor precisely in case of need, ensure the high-efficiency operation of conveyor, and effectively avoid personal injury and loss of property due to occurrence of hazards.
