    Application of sensing devices in monitoring of solid level in bunker and protection and control of belt conveyor at Dunlan Coal Preparation Plant

    • With the ever-increasing enhancement of automation level of coal cleaning equipment,sensing elements are now used in the raw coal haulage and handling control system of Dunlan Coal Preparation Plant for making real-time detection and automatic control operations,in a bid to enhance the automation level of the system’s protection units. Practice shows that the use of the sensing elements in the raw coal handing system makes it possible to realize accurate monitoring and control of operating status of equipment,better fault protection and more accurate measurement of operating parameters of equipment,enhancement of working efficiency and continuous and reliable operation of the overall system. The various kinds of sensing devices used for the protection of belt conveyor can find widespread applications in the coal industry.
