Practice of remolding of heavy medium separation process at Baguanhe Coal Washery for production of high-ash clean coal product

In order to cater to the market need for the Grade-16 clean coal product,the washery makes a partial readjustment of the quality grade of clean coal product. It is found,through analysis of raw coal property and feasibility of coal separation using existing washing process,that by taking such measures as change of part of the process flowsheet and operating parameters of equipment,and improvement of density adjustment process,it is possible to effectively tackle the problems involved in the production of various grades of clean coal products. By taking the above-mentioned approaches,the output of clean coal is much increased,greatly enhancing,therefore,the economic performance and anti-risk capability of the washery.
