Study on fire and corrosion protection design of steel structural workshop of coal preparation plant

Workshops of steel structure are commonly adopted in construction of coal preparation plants.However,the workshops of such a structure are low in fire resistant capability and require a high cost for corrosion treatment later. Because of the low resistance of steel material against fire and corrosion,great importance should be attached to fire and corrosion protection in the design stage. An analysis is made in the paper of the problems and insufficiencies in the design of fire and corrosion-resistant steel structural workshops. Following that,the concrete measure for protection of steel structural workshops are proposed.
