    Study of effect of different binders on briquetting of Xinjiang Lignite

    • A study is made in the paper using Xinjiang lignite as testing material of the effect on briquetting of lignite and particularly the effect on cold-state compression strength of the lignite briquetted in the case of using different binders,such as bentonite,sodium silicate,sodium humate,calcium hydroxide,magnesium sulfate,magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride. As indicated by test result,the cold-state compression strength of the briquette can reach its highest level with an addition of 6% magnesium oxide and 3% magnesium sulfate.
