Application of frequency converter-based constant-pressure water supply system in coal preparation plant

Hancheng Kanda Coal Preparation Plant is facing the trouble of a short supply of domestic water due to instability of water supply pressure. Therefore,a special ABB ACS 510 frequency converterbased constant-pressure water supply system is developed. The system consists of water pump,pressure transducer,frequency converter and valves. Practice shows that it is a energy-saving system working with basically constant water level of pump room and improve the living environment of the plant——a matter of far-reaching significance for the enhancement of the automatic level of the plant.
