    Application of the coarse slime separation process at Lvjiatuo Mine Coal Washery

    • The problems confronted by the plant are the difficulty in raw coal sizing and desliming operation due to high content of coarse slime in raw coal and poor desliming performance of the hydrocycle battery used for retaining coarse particles. Work is therefore made on improvement of the coarse slime separation system. Through the use of 3-cone water-only cyclone in place of the FX600 × 3 classifying hydrocyclone originally used and improvement of related auxiliary equipment,there has been seen an improvement of the performance of coarse slime treatment,heavy-medium cyclone and flotation system,as well as increase of treating capacity and yield of clean coal.
