Experimental study and preparation of BM compound coal slime flotation reagent

The BM compound flotation agent is prepared using fusel oil and 0^# diesel oil as raw material under an optimum preparation condition determined through orthogonal experiment. Comparison with other agents normally used indicates that: a best result can be expected when the agent is prepared with 0^# diesel and fusel oil in a ratio of 5 ∶ 1,an addition of Span-80 in a dosage of 5% of fusel oil（ by weight）,a reaction temperature of 60℃ and a reaction time of 90 minutes; at an optimal dosage of 2.0 kg/t,the flotation concentrate,recovery of combustible matter and flotation perfection index are 0. 41%,0.83% and 1.31% respectively than in the case when 0^# diesel is used at the same dosage,well demonstrating the remarkable effect of the agent and its promising future for popularization.
