Analysis of the reform made of the coal washing process at Zhongling Coal Preparation Plant

The paper presents an analysis of the technical transformation of the existing coal washing system made on analysis of the raw coal property,market demand and product positioning. Practice shows that: the renovation work is short in cycle time,low in total initial capital cost,and short in payback period because of the full use as for as possible of the existing equipment and facilities; and the successful operation of the renovated washing system makes it possible for Zhongling Coal Washery to operate with a remarkable economic performance resulted from production of diversified products and noticeable increase of sales income.
