    Feasibility study of raw coal dry screening at Duanwang Mine Coal Preparation Plant

    • In order to meet the requirement on product quality and reduce plant operating cost,both theoretical study and comparative analysis are made of the performance of both dry and wet screening operations. Following that,a study is made on the feasibility of conducting dry screening of the raw coal at Duanwang Mine Coal Preparation Plant using the flip-flop screen,and the optimization of the process 1 layout. As evidenced by pilot industrial test and field application,it is practically feasible to make dry screening of the raw coal at a size of 3-mm using the flip-flop screen. The capacity and efficiency of the machine are 500 t/h and over 70% respectively,well up to the expected result.
