Development and application of the pipe section-mounted self-discharging tramp iron separator

The pipe section-mounted tramp iron separators traditionally used are generally large in size and heavy in weight and involve much maintenance work.Moreover,the tramp iron separated cannot be automatically detached and removed.An introduction is made in the paper to an improved version of such a kind of separator-detachable self-discharging tramp iron separator.The separator is compact in size in which the tramp iron separated can be continuously detached,removed and discharged all in an automatic manner.Practice shows the separator has a high antiwear capacity and a remarkable working performance.
