    Research on minerals transfer and graphitization during Taixi coal calcinations

    • To understand the rule of minerals transfer and graphitization during Taixi coal calcinations,Taixi low-ash coal is studied by high temperature carbonization test and TDA. The results show that the low density component in Taixi coal contains abundant clay and a little carbonate minerals. The minerals in coal is decomposed and achieves recrystal in the process of carbonization and graphitization calcinations,and graphitization of coal-based carbon is subject to the temperature,which is up to 97% at 2 450 ℃. What ’ more,different calcining furnaces have bigger difference in separating minerals out,while the most minerals separated out happens in the drum furnaces under the appropiate temperature.
