Study on effect of agitation rate on separation results of flotation machine

Effect of agitation rate in process of mixing and separating pulp on flotation results is studied by analyzing combustible recovery of flotation concentrate,ash content and floatation perfect index as well as the important role of agitation in flotation process is explained. The result shows that the higher agitation rate is helpful to mineralize bubble and enhance combustible recovery during mixing pulp; the lower agitation is suitable for separating pulp to reduce effect of turbulent flow on froth layer in flotation cells,at the same time lower ash content of flotation concentrate effectively.
