Application of FCSMC-4500 flotation column in the second subarea of Taixi coal preparation plant

To improve flotation effect of fine slime in the second subarea of Taixi coal preparation plant,FCSMC-4500 flotation column is used to separate fine slime. This paper introduces structure,working principle,technical characteristic and parameters of this equipment as well as analyzes its application.The application shows that upper limit of particle size achieving the best flotation effect is 0. 3mm for this flotation column; optimal separation size is 0. 3~0. 045 mm,and flotation effect of fine slime is better with flotation concentrate recovery efficiency of 90. 34% for 0. 074~0. 045 mm.
