    Research on the law of methane distribution in reclaiming area of silo in coal preparation plant

    • To grasp methane distribution in reclaiming area of silo in Changping mine coal preparation plant and its influence factors,a mathematical model was built according to the laws of mass,momentum and component conservation,and Fluent was used to simulate and analyze methane distribution. The result indicates that methane concentration is more than safety limit due to interior concrete eaves,when air velocity is low,or windows are closed in winter,which affects seriously normal safe production. The research result is helpful for coal enterprises to know the reason and law of methane accumulation in reclaiming area coal silo in the preparation plant,and to support to draw up safety and protection system basically in time.
