Practice of coal slime drying and upgrading at Shuozhong coal preparation plant

In order to solve the problems of difficult of storage,transportation and burning,as well as low price and difficult to sales of coal slime in Shuozhong coal preparation plant,using the MGT3420 drum drying system to drying and upgrading coal slime.The paper introduced the structure,working principle,technical features and parameters of MGT3420 drum drying system,and analyzed the application effect of the system.The production practice shows that with adopting MGT3420 drum slime drying system for drying and upgrading,the moisture of slime decreased from 24% to the 16%,calorific value increased from 15.06 MJ/kg to 17.15 MJ/kg now,which meet the requirements of storage and blended as commercial coal sales,also obtained good economic and social benefits.
