This paper described the importance and necessity of coal slurry pretreatment technology during the process of flotation,introduces the current several basic methods of flotation coal slurry pretreatment,analyzed the demand for coal slurry pretreatment during the flotation process,summarizes the research progress of coal slurry preprocessor technology both at home and abroad,including the influence of slime characteristics on conditioning of pulp,the development of new coal slurry pretreatment equipment,the computational fluid mechanics and modern test methods in the application of the coal slurry preprocessor,points out the development trend of coal slurry pretreatment technology in future.
