    Experimental study on hydrophobic agglomeration settlement of ultra-fine montmorillonite

    • To improve the settling efficiencyh of highly-argillized coal slurry,take the cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and silane coupling agent KH-550 as agent,studied the influence of the agents dosage,the stirring duration and the stirring speed on the hydrophobic agglomeration settlement of montmorillonite fines.The result shows that,The best processing conditions of the hydrophobic agglomeration settlement of montmorillonite fines induced by cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride were obtained that the agents dosage was 120 g/m3,the stirring speed was 500 r/min,and the stirring duration was 5 min,and the processing conditions of the hydrophobic agglomeration settlement of montmorillonite fines induced by silane coupling agent KH-550 were the best that the agents dosage was 80 g/m3,the stirring speed was 500 r/min,and the stirring duration was 5 min.
