Research on the washability of 3^# coal in Tavan Tolgoi coal mine of Mongolia

In order to find out the washability of 3^# raw coal in Tavan Tolgoi colliery in Mongolia,its process performance and washability was studied based on the analysis of coal characterization. The results indicated that the 3^# raw coal is a kind of low ash content and low sulfur content coking coal with high grindability,good thermo stability and high metamorphic degree,the theoretical yield of clean coal is higher but it’s difficult to separate.
