Abstract
In order to improve the utilization level of fly ash resources and effectively protect environment, analyzed the particle size characteristics of fly ash and size distribution of unburned carbon in Guangdong Pingshi power plant, also analyzed the surface hydrophobicity of unburned carbon particles by using the contact angle survey meter, and based on that conducted the decarburization test by flotation. The test results show that the particle size of fly ash is very fine, the content of < 0.074 mm particle size is about 89.81%,the unburned carbon particle contact angle is only 21°,and the floatability is poor;when the dosage of diesel is 10 kg/t,sec-octyl alcohol is 3.5 kg/t,the yield of flotation tailings is 73.85%,and loss rate is 4.89%.the yield of flotation clean coal is 26.15%,ash content is 45.45%,heating value is 14.34 kJ/kg,so the comprehensive recovery rate is higher.
