    Experimental study on the slime settlement characteristic of lignite

    • The experimental study was done focused on slime treatment in the process of the lignite washing.The phase analysis of the gangue in the lignite was done by X-ray diffraction,and the ion in the three kinds of water sample used in the test was analyzed.The coal slime were prepared directly using the gangue,under the condition without adding agent conducted the coal slime settlement performance test under artificial simulated circulating water,studied the influence of different water on the slime settlement,the optimum dosage for coal slime under different concentration.The result indicated that this kind of gangue after sliming can increase the hardness of the water;the water took from the working site facilities the settlement of the coal slime;the ideal settlement result can be achieved only by adding the organic coagulant named FOCUSⅡ.
