Application of teeter bed separator in Zhangxiaolou coal preparation plant

In the paper,the structure and operating principle as well as technical features of the Teeter Bed Separator are illustrated;furthermore,the application effect of such equipment in the Zhangxiaolou coal preparation plant is described.The production practice indicates that use of it to separate the coarse coal slime with 1-0.25 mm size fraction in the Zhangxiaolou coal preparation plant could achieve good separation result,that means,the average ash contents of the clean coal and tailings are 8.72% and 79.65% respectively.In a word,such equipment is simple in technological system,low in maintenance cost,and is worth popularizing in similar coal preparation plants.
