The paper detailed described the detection of density and level of heavy-medium suspension and application of automatic control system and the way of realizing functions of each system,introduced application result of the system in Antaibao coal preparation plant.The operation practice shows that the system reached the automatic detecting of density and level of heavy-medium suspension and automatic control of flow splitting,medium adding,and water adding,thus ensured the entire system operated stable and reliable,obtained good separation result.
